Valley Home Gutted By Fire

A fire gutted the first floor of a Valley house Friday.

A candle is believed to be responsible for the fire at 515 N. University.

A toddler who was briefly left alone in the living room of the home apparently knocked the lighted candle onto a love seat.

The fire took half an hour to put out and caused $100,000 in damage.

No one was injured.
