Hearing Planned On Proposed Subdivision At Best, 24Th
Neighbors are concerned that a proposed subdivision at Best Road and 24th Avenue is too dense and would change the rural character of their neighborhood.
The Spokane County hearing examiner will hold a public hearing Wednesday to consider the preliminary plans for the Crestview subdivision.
CLC Associates Inc. has requested a zone change from suburban residential to urban residential to allow 18 homes on about three acres at the southwest corner of Best and 24th.
County planners said many neighbors have written letters to express their concern with the density of the subdivision.
The public hearing on the proposed zone change and development plans will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the commissioners’ assembly room on the lower level of the Spokane County Public Works building, 1026 W. Broadway.
