Man Shot As He Looked Out Window

Police are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old man with a bullet wound in his arm.

Police responded to the reported shooting in the 2100 block of West Boone at 12:30 a.m. Saturday. They were told that several teenage boys had been outside, and witnesses heard three shots fired. The teens fled the area, and a neighbor called 911.

The victim told police he had been upstairs when he heard shouting outside. He told police he went to the window to look and heard shots. He ran downstairs, where someone pointed out he’d been shot, police said.

The man was treated at a local hospital. Apparently, no one else was injured, and police are continuing their investigation.
