Focusing On ‘Key Moments’
Helping kids develop into functional, caring adults is one of the most important tasks any of us has in life.
Tonight, a panel of experts on childhood development will offer some thoughts and advice on how adults can help steer young people through the key moments of their lives.
This “Key Moments” forum, sponsored by The Spokesman-Review, is free.
The panelists are experts in everything from how to bond with your child to how to cope with drugs, drinking and friends.
The Spokesman-Review is sponsoring this forum because we believe parents and other caring adults want to positively influence the lives of young people.
But to have a positive effect, adults must make time for kids and make time to attend skill-building forums such as the one tonight.
If you care about your own children or the kids in your extended family or the neighborhood kids who are at risk of getting off-track, the newspaper invites you to make time for tonight’s forum.
The “Key Moments” forum is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook.
If you have questions about the forum, please call (509) 744-5666 or (800) 789-0029, extension 5666.
Experts will be there to answer your questions.
Free child care will be provided.
The rest is up to you.
