Plymouth Presenting Evening Music
Music will be playing throughout the summer at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1502 W. Eighth. The church will host the Summer Well, an evening of modern praise and worship music, every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The weekly sessions begin tonight.
The Summer Well is a group of musicians from Eastern Washington University who perform on campus during the school year as The Well.
Admission to the performances is free, and all are welcome.

Carillon recitals begin
The Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 12th and Grand Boulevard will begin its annual summer carillon recitals next week.
The first concert will be Tuesday at 9 p.m. The featured performer is Andrea McCrady, cathedral carillonneur.
The concert is free. Audience members are welcome to bring blankets and chairs and stay after the performance for a good view of the downtown fireworks show.
The hourlong concerts will be offered every Thursday in July.
Guest performers include Bernard Winsemius of the Netherlands, David Hunsberger of the University of California at Berkeley, Dennis Curry of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and Elaine Brewer of the University of Kansas. Performances will be held rain or shine.

Summer worship schedules change
Highland Park United Methodist Church, 611 S. Garfield, will begin its summer worship schedule this week. The weekly service will now begin at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.
Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church will now offer one combined worship service at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. The church is located at 4102 S. Crestline.
