Eleven Shots Fired Into Apartment
Spokane police say 11 shots were fired into a lower South Hill apartment Wednesday morning, but no one was injured.
The resident of the apartment on the 1000 block of West Sixth Avenue told police he was feeding his child when he heard a noise. He and another man in the apartment said they saw two people outside. One had a baseball bat and the other had a weapon, police said.
Someone tried to kick in the front door, a side window was broken out and shots were fired into the living room window, police said.
The two men then fled, police said. The resident did not know the motive for the attack. Police are continuing to investigate.
