Employee Arrested

An employee at a Valley shoe store was arrested Monday after a manager discovered money had been stolen.

A manager at the Foot Locker store in the Spokane Valley Mall found receipts totaling $750 had been forged. The receipts were initialed by an employee who paid out refunds for shoes that were never purchased, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Shandrycka N. Weaver, 21, of Cheney, was arrested for felony second-degree theft.
