Neighborhood Meetings

The newly organized Comstock Neighborhood Council will convene its third official meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Sacajawea Middle School’s cafeteria.

The council attracted more than 120 neighbors at its first organizational meeting and has had a regular attendance of 60 people in the weeks since.

Wednesday’s meeting will feature an appearance by Don Ramsey, the city’s traffic engineer.

Ramsey is expected to discuss traffic problems on the South Side and the possibilities for safety improvements at the intersection of 29th Avenue and Lincoln Street.

The neighborhood council also is seeking nominations for officers.

Anyone seeking information about the neighborhood council may call the interim president, John Stolz, at 455-8944.
