Robber Demands Cash At Store

An adult business employee told police that a man and woman robbed the downtown store last Thursday night, police said.

The employee said the couple entered Best Buy Adult Entertainment, 303 W. Second, about 9:30 p.m., police said. They looked at some merchandise, then left.

The two returned about 11 p.m. just before the employee was about to close the store. He said the woman bought a bottle of lotion and left.

Meanwhile, the man walked around the counter, said he had a handgun, and demanded the money from the cash register, police said.

The employee described the man as white, 25 to 30 years old, about 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, with short dark hair and a square face. The clerk said the man walked with a limp.

The woman was described as Hispanic or Native American, about 5-foot-3, 110 pounds, with black hair pulled back, wearing tight jeans and a tailored jacket.

Anyone with information on either of the suspects is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
