14-Year-Old Charged With Gun Possession
A 14-year-old Mead Middle School student has been charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The young woman allegedly brought a pistol to school Friday morning.
The student allegedly showed the .38-caliber gun to two students, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said. The weapon was also displayed to a third student outside the building, the sheriff’s office said.
The teen was initially arrested on an outstanding warrant charging her with a probation violation.
