Raid Shuts Down Working Meth Lab

Authorities shut down another working methamphetamine lab Tuesday, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

Three people were arrested in the raid, said sheriff’s spokesman Cpl. Dave Reagan.

The Spokane Regional Drug Task Force and the Washington State Patrol meth team served search warrants at 14610 W. Lincoln Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators found an active meth lab with less than 1 ounce of finished product, Reagan said. A rifle and a shotgun were also found.

Matthew D. Kelsey, 35, and Sandra M. Kelsey, 36, were arrested. They were charged with three felonies: manufacturing meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance.

A visitor, Daniel R. Coyle, was also charged with manufacturing and possession with intent to deliver, Reagan said.

Authorities were notified by neighbors who noticed the odor coming from the house. The lab was dismantled and the suspects were decontaminated, Reagan said.
