Stabbing Suspect Arrested At Hospital
A 17-year-old Spokane man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man after the suspect went to the hospital to be treated for a cut to his finger, police said.
Police officers were interviewing the 18-year-old victim at the hospital emergency room where he was being treated for a 6-inch-long stab wound to his left arm.
The victim told police he was at a party in the 4000 block of East Marietta when a fight started, and he was stabbed by a man he didn’t know.
The suspect walked into the hospital while officers were taking the victim’s statement, police said.
The 17-year-old was booked into Juvenile Detention for first-degree assault, police said.
The victim was treated and released.
