Robbery Committed At North Side Zip Trip

A man robbed a Zip Trip on the North Side early Tuesday, according to Spokane police.

The clerk at the store, at 7902 North Division, told police the man walked in around 3:15 a.m. He showed the clerk the gun, threatened the clerk and demanded money, police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

The robber took some cash and left. A police dog tracked the man across the parking lot, but the trail ended on the far side of a small wall.

The robber was described as white, in his late 20s, about 5 foot 6, 150 pounds, with long brown hair and a mustache. He was wearing a red rain jacket.

Anyone with information on the robber is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
