Circle K Stores To Become Zip-Trips

Spokane area Circle K convenience stores will be rebranded as Zip-Trip stores during the next few months.

Spokane-based JOPO Inc., doing business as Zip Trip, purchased 13 Circle K stores from Circle K Stores Inc. in Tempe, Ariz. They include the seven Circle K stores in Spokane; three stores in Idaho in Coeur d’Alene, Bonners Ferry and Moscow; a store in Clarkston, Wash.; and two stores in Eastern Oregon.

Ian Johnstone, Zip Trip’s director of operations, says all the stores will be rebranded as ZipTrips offering Union 76 gasoline.

The purchase brings to 32 the number of JOPO-operated convenience stores.
