Landscape Firms Will Join Forces

Two landscape architectural companies, Summit Landscape Construction Inc. and Clearwater Landscape, will merge to form Clearwater Summit Group Inc.

By April 1, the two businesses will be combined at the site of Summit’s main offices at 4228 E. Wellesley. Clearwater’s offices will be used as a storage facility. All staff members will be retained.

Tim Sweet, president of Summit Landscape, will head the merged company. He said the merger positions the companies to better serve the local market. Summit has specialized in commercial landscape design, while Clearwater has focused on residential design.

Clearwater Landscape was founded in 1996 by Ty Ullman, who will serve as Clearwater Summit’s vice president. Summit Landscape Construction was founded in 1983 by Sweet.
