Man, 20, Stabbed In Valley Incident

Spokane sheriff’s deputies are investigating the stabbing of a 20-year-old man Friday.

Deputies responded to 900 S. Houk around 6:27 p.m. where they found the victim with a stab wound to his torso, Inspector Dave Wiyrick said.

The victim told deputies that he had been walking near University High and got into a fight with three individuals and was stabbed, Wiyrick said.

The victim was being treated at an area hospital Friday evening and deputies were interviewing him there, Wiyrick said. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
