Police Arrest Three In Stabbing
Police arrested one man and two teenage boys in connection with a stabbing Friday night on the North Side.
Jermaine Bear, 21, was arrested at his residence at 2215 E. Courtland and booked into jail on a charge of first-degree assault, according to the Spokane Police Department. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested and booked into Juvenile Detention, also on first-degree assault.
The victim, a 34-year-old man, was in satisfactory condition Saturday afternoon after undergoing surgery at an area hospital, police said.
Police found the victim lying in a yard in the 3400 block of North Lee just after 7 p.m. Friday. He had run from the area where the fight occurred, knocked on a stranger’s door and collapsed.
The fight took place outside the Courtland address and in a nearby alley, police said. Evidence, including the knife used in the attack, was found at the home of one of the juveniles, police said.
