Sex Offender Found On School Campus

From Staff Reports

A Level III sex offender who developed a relationship with a 17-year-old girl was found on the Rogers High School campus earlier this month, Spokane police said.

Bryant James Jordan, 22, is considered to be a high risk to commit a sex-related crime, police said. He is not wanted for any violations.

Spokane School District 81 notified Jordan that he is not permitted on school property, police said.

Because he has been near youths recently, Spokane police want the community to be aware of his recent activities.

Jordan is listed as a transient with no permanent address. He is 5 feet 9, 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Since his release by the state Department of Corrections, Jordan is not under any supervision.

Jordan has been convicted in Spokane County of rape, incest and several counts of assault with sexual motivation. The victim was an 8-year-old girl, Spokane police said.
