Wounded Man In Intensive Care

A 32-year-old who was shot at his North Side apartment Tuesday morning remains in the intensive care unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center, the hospital staff said.

Carl J. Denardo was allegedly shot by Mark B. Overland, who was booked into the Spokane County Jail on attempted murder charges, Spokane police said.

Both men lived in the same apartment building in the 2800 block of East Everett.

A Spokane police spokesman would not discuss a motive for the shooting or reveal what type of weapon was used in the attack.
