Police Identify Body Found Near Lc

Spokane police have identified the woman found dead near Lewis and Clark High School on Monday as Danette S. Stewart, 19.

The cause of death was listed as asphyxiation by hanging, police said. The death did not involve criminal action, they said.

A construction worker found Stewart’s body hanging from the lower portion of an orange backhoe about 5:50 a.m.
