Newscaster Gets Needed Lesson On Manners
KXLY newscaster Eric Cannavaro learned a lesson when he poked his camera in Dr. Ellen Baker’s face. The NASA astronaut and a Hungarian cosmonaut were watching Priest River Elementary kids launch rockets when the KXLYer interrupted. Rudely. “So, Ellen,” he said, casually addressing the shuttle veteran, “What’d you think?” That ignited a lecture on the proper way to approach people. Before she permitted the Talking Head to continue, Baker said: “Manners, manners.” Civility 1, TV 0.

Dave recovered nicely with this: “Madam chair, if that’s the way you have it down, I’m sure that’s right.”
