Members of the Sundance Drug Task Force and Bonner County Emergency Response Team discovered a clandestine drug lab near Priest River Thursday morning.

Officers served a search warrant on a residence on Old Priest River Road and found a partially active methamphetamine lab in a vehicle on the property. They arrested three men. It’s the 15th lab the task force has busted this year.

Phil L. Rusho, 45, was charged with an active bench warrant. Michael D. Wellan, 29, and Patrick J. Potter, 41, were charged with possession of a controlled substance and attempted manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The Idaho State Clandestine Lab Team, the West Pend Oreille Fire Department and the Priest River Police Department assisted in the bust.

The investigation is continuing.
