Arrest Made After Noise Complaint

Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest and gave tickets for underage drinking last Saturday morning.

Neighbors in an apartment complex complained about noise coming from one of the units at the Adams Square apartments, 221 S. Adams Road.

Of four people who were in the apartment, only one was 21 years old, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

An 18-year-old gave deputies four different names before finally claiming to be David Baruch Yadin, 1370 E. 27th. He was arrested and booked into jail for making misleading statements to police and for alcohol consumption, both misdemeanor offenses.

Deputies also ticketed Melissa L. Slater, 20, for allegedly providing the alcohol and Yosef Hayim Yadin, 19, for possessing a metal pipe deputies alleged had been used to smoke marijuana. Both Slater and Yadin live in the apartment complex.
