Two Seventh-Graders May Face Gun Charges

Two Sacajawea Middle School students were arrested Tuesday afternoon at the school after a gun was found.

Both boys were expelled immediately, said District 81 spokeswoman Terren Roloff.

One of the boys, a seventh-grader, brought the gun to school to sell to another boy, an eighth-grader, she said. Three students reported the incident to school authorities, Roloff said.

The boys were taken to juvenile detention. Charges pending against the boys couldn’t be confirmed Wednesday night.
