Kaiser, Union To Meet Next Week

Negotiators for Kaiser Aluminum and the United Steelworkers of America ended two days of talks in Minnesota Friday and agreed to meet again next week.

Neither side commented on the progress of the talks this week. The labor dispute, nearly 20 months long, affects 2,900 workers at five Kaiser plants.

The parties have agreed to continue the talks May 23-26 in Chicago.
