Mock Accident Planned At Evhs

A mock car crash will take place Friday afternoon at East Valley High School.

The mock accident will include fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency vehicles arriving at the high school.

The event is scheduled to run from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sponsored by the Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council, the event is geared toward juniors and seniors at the high school. Organizers hope that students will understand more thoroughly the dangers of drinking and driving.

The afternoon will include a mock memorial service for the “deceased.” Members of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be available for students who need to talk.
