Desiree Jean Brooks exchanged wedding vows with Ross David Schlotthauer in a Jan. 2 ceremony at Fort Sherman Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Rena Brooks, Post Falls. Dave and Robin Schlotthauer, Blanchard, Idaho, and Shirley Schlotthauer, Post Falls, are parents of the groom.

A reception at Lake City Senior Center followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon to Lake Tahoe.

The bride is a graduate of Post Falls High School, and is an administrative assistant. The groom is a graduate of the University of Idaho and is a mechanical engineer.
