Worried that a showing of “Mission Impossible 2” is going to sell out before you make it to the movies at River Park Square? Just buy your ticket online.

AMC Theaters and Hollywood.com have teamed to launch Movietickets.com. Movie patrons can use the online site to find movie show times and reserve tickets with a credit card. They can pick up the tickets at the theater box office or the automated ticket machine.

The site also offers film reviews, movie trailers and movie news.

CBS has signed an agreement in principle with Movietickets.com. CBS will own 5 percent of the company in exchange for $25 million in advertising over the next five years.
