Pullman Fire Was Caused By Electrical Short

A fire that destroyed Pullman’s oldest building late Sunday evening was caused by a short in an electrical cord connected to a stereo tuner, the Pullman Fire Department said Tuesday.

The four-alarm fire destroyed the Corner Drug Store in the 110-year-old building.

Fancy Nail, The Small Place, Pullman Appliance and Ken’s Stationery also suffered water and smoke damage.

Officials estimated losses at more than $1 million.
