Man Robs Mead Convenience Store

A man held up a Mead convenience store Monday night, Spokane Police spokesman Dick Cottam reported.

The suspect entered Zip Trip, 3921 E. Mt. Spokane Park Drive, and demanded and received money from a clerk, police said. The man, who wore a black motorcycle helmet, left in a black 1980s-style Toyota hatchback.

The robber is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing wire sun glasses and faded jeans and a jean jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
