Services affected by the observance of Veterans Day Friday.

Schools: Public schools closed.

Banks: Open Friday.

Mail: Delivered Friday. Only express mail will be delivered Saturday.

Government offices: County, state and federal offices closed Friday. City offices will be open.

Libraries: City and county libraries will be open Friday and Saturday, except the downtown branch, which will be closed Saturday.

Parking meters: Must be fed Friday and Saturday.

Buses: Regular schedules.

Garbage: City and county pickup on regular schedule.

Local journalism is essential.
