Fund Will Benefit Wounded Hunter

A benevolent fund has been set up for a Colfax man who was shot in the leg in a Nov. 1 hunting accident.

Edward Wolf, 44, was hunting with his son in the Umatilla National Forest in Garfield County when his son’s rifle accidently discharged.

Wolf worked as a meat cutter at Rosauers in Moscow, Idaho. The fund was set up by Rosauers employees.

“With this kind of injury, it is going to (financially) devastate the family,” said Shari Ladd, who helped set up the fund. “They’ve already been devastated by the injury.”

Ladd said Wolf won’t be able to go back to work for at least the next year while he rehabilitates.

People who want to donate can go to a Washington Mutual branch and ask to give to the Edward Wolf benevolent fund.
