Metz Has T-Wolves’ Mojo Rising
Look for Metz fans in Lake City now that the World Series is a distant memory.
Jesi Metz totaled team highs of 12 points, 10 rebounds and five steals on Friday night to guide Lake City to a 45-22 win at Moscow in a Border League girls basketball game.
Metz also hit two of the Timberwolves’ three 3-pointers.
Lake City (1-2, 1-0) hit 17 of 60 from the field while the Bears (0-2, 0-2) finished 8 of 32.

Holly Eberlin added nine rebounds and four steals for St. Maries, and Rachel Wolfe came off the bench to pile up eight rebounds and six assists. Tauren Rohn-Hayden had six rebounds for Potlatch.
