WSU Fanfare

Compiled By Hilary Kraus Staff

Question: Did you ever imagine it could be like this?

No way, not a shot. It all comes down to that Rick Neuheisel is a winner and Mike Price is content on people playing hard. And if you play hard you’ve done your job. But it comes down to winning.

Tony Talotti, Spokane

I actually thought the Cougars were going to win it. But they were outcoached and outplayed. Rick Neuheisel had them (Washington) prepared. Mike Price didn’t. Same thing we’ve seen for the last several years.

Dwight Dorman, LaCrosse

I thought it was going to be a lot closer. Too bad, we came a long ways for not much.

Greg Heath, Puyallup

I had the feeling the Cougars were going to win today because we had the momentum. But I was still in the fieldhouse and the score was already 13-0.

Brandyn Blanchat, Pullman

No. I respect Coach Mike Price, but he can’t call plays to save his life.

Kris Allen, Spokane

I thought it would be a close game. This is hard to take. I came down with half Huskies and half Cougars. Now I have to go home with these guys on the bus. Oh, God!

Mark Schafer, Spokane

I thought we’d play a little harder. They weren’t ready. I think the coaching staff needs to shoulder a lot of the burden.

Jeff Aune, LaCrosse
