Man Stabbed During Fight

A man told police he was stabbed during a fight with three men Thursday morning east of downtown, Spokane Police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

The incident occurred at about 5:15 a.m. at Third and Altamont, Cottam said. The victim, who is in his 20s, told police he got in a fight with his assailants near Zip Trip, 302 S. Altamont.

The man said he didn’t realize he was injured until the men fled. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.

Two of the attackers were black; the other was a white man.
