Alicia M. Lyon exchanged wedding vows with Justin P. Jacob in a June 24 ceremony at the Gathering Place in Spokane.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Christine Lyon, Greenacres. Roger Jacob Jr. and Theresa Jacob, Wapato, are parents of the groom.

A reception at the Quality Inn Valley Suites followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Wapato after a honeymoon in Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper, Alberta.

The bride and groom are graduates of Washington State University. The bride is a middle school teacher in Zillah, Wash., and the groom is a high school teacher in Wapato.
