Zeches Passes Pullman Past Riverside
Brian Zeches threw for 291 yards and four touchdowns, giving him 16 TD passes for the year, as Pullman defeated host Riverside 34-7 at Chattaroy in Friday’s Great Northern League play.
Greyhounds Jacob Petz and Kyle Clark combined for nine catches for 200 yards.
Pullman (3-2, 2-0) also had two interceptions and recovered two fumbles.
Brian Crance of the Rams (3-2, 1-2) logged 76 yards and one TD on 16 carries.
Also in the GNL, Deer Park (5-0, 3-0) scored twice in the first quarter after recovering fumbles, and kicker Lucas Langbehn accounted for nine points, including two field goals, as the Stags topped visiting Chewelah 27-14. Andy Schreck rushed for 205 yards and three TDs on 22 carries, and Davenport (5-0, 3-0) rolled up 608 yards to defeat visiting Republic 48-14. Justin Holderby and Ryan Buchmann also eclipsed 100 rushing yards for the Gorillas. Cory Rickard of the Tigers (4-1, 2-1) had six receptions for 106 yards… .
