New faces:
Recent additions to the staff of Telect Inc. include:
John Rockwell joined the company as network and technical support manager. Rockwell was previously director of information technology at Itron Inc.
Dave Loomis was hired as senior international operations project manager. He previously worked for Key Tronic Corp. in Spokane as manager of worldwide process engineering.
Carole Moore was named Telect’s recruitment manager. She previously worked for Itron locally as human resources manager.
Dave Allert was hired as senior manufacturing engineer. Allert was previously with Key Tronic as program manager.
Deanna Hildenbrand joined Telect as corporate communications specialist. She previously worked for Avista Corp. in Spokane as public and media relations coordinator.
Gonzaga University’s office of University Ministry has hired Cherie Peacock as a university minister. Peacock has extensive experience in youth ministry and education, both in high school and university settings. She has a strong background in liturgical music ministry and has worked on music ministry teams in several parishes and Newman Centers. Her community service work includes a position with Project Gabriel, a crisis pregnancy network that provides financial, medical and spiritual support for women.
Moving up:
Telect Inc. has promoted the following employees:
Dana Anderson was named director of corporate communications. Anderson will be responsible for managing all aspects of international public relations and communications functions for the company.
Lynn Colwell was promoted to senior communications specialist, corporate communications. She will oversee internal communications tools that keep employees aware of what’s happening in the company.
Jennifer Ferrero was promoted to corporate communications specialist. She will be responsible for promoting internal communications for Telect.
Edward Massegossa was named manager of Telect’s plant in Campinas, Brazil. He will oversee the manufacturing of existing and new products in Brazil and Mercosur.
Robert Jayne was promoted to engineering supervisor. Jayne will supervise a newly created group to support engineering and manufacturing.
Donald Prince was promoted to manufacturing manager, Spokane operations. Prince will be responsible for all production operations for the company’s Liberty Lake facility.
Matt Porter was named traffic manager. His responsibilities include coordinating finished goods inventory, packaging and shipping operations worldwide.
Paul Knight was promoted to engineering supervisor, fiber optic development. Knight will oversee the engineering of fiber optic equipment and systems.
Bob Carter was named director, carrier sales. He will manage the Carrier Sales Organization and sales to all regional Bell operating companies and independent local exchange carriers in North America.
Brett Sweezy has been named chief financial officer of Post Falls-based Lifestream Technologies Inc. Sweezy, who is a certified public accountant with more than 10 years of experience in financial management, had been the firm’s interim CFO. He previously had his own public accounting practice and was CFO and treasurer for Secured Interactive Technologies, which Lifestream acquired in September 1999. Sweezy earned a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from New England College.
Appointed:
John R. Madri, president and CEO of Global Credit Union, has been appointed by the Washington Credit Union League to the Committee for International Development for the 2000-2001 term. The committee identifies and develops beneficial exchanges between credit unions in Washington and cooperative finance organizations or endeavors outside the U.S.
