FROM FOR THE RECORD (Friday, October 27, 2000): Correction Not enrolled: Andrew Lesofski, Republican candidate for the state House in the 3rd District, is not currently enrolled at Gonzaga. A story in Wednesday’s paper stated otherwise.

Born in Missoula. Came to Spokane in 1998. Married to Liz. No children.

Has evaluated grants for U.S.

Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Native Americans since 1995; Home Depot customer service for the past year and a half; prior to that worked for Great Northern Masonry as an apprentice mason.

Education

Working toward degree in environmental science and elementary education at Gonzaga. Attended Salish-Kootenai tribal college in Pablo, Mont., before enrolling at Gonzaga.

Political history

Ran for the Montana House of Representatives in 1996. Member of the Young Republicans.

Issues

Help small businesses. Encourage economic development by luring heavy manufacturing to Spokane.
