Fire Roars Through Pullman Drug Store

A fire raged through Pullman’s landmark Corner Drug Store Sunday night. Both floors of the two-story building were on fire, and flames were shooting through the roof.

Pullman and Washington State University fire crews battled the blaze at the corner of Main and Grand, and were attempting to keep the fire from spreading to neighboring businesses. A nail salon and restaurant are located in the same building.

Pullman Fire spokesman Glenn Johnson said Sunday night he was unsure of the building’s age. The cause of the fire was unknown.
