Two More Windows Broken At City Hall
Another pair of windows have been broken at City Hall, apparently by vandals armed with slingshots.
It brings the number of windows broken at City Hall in the past month to 12, with the damage estimated at more than $12,000.
City Manager Hank Miggins said Thursday it wasn’t clear when the latest windows were broken. One was in a utility closet, and may have only just been discovered, he said.
The damage doesn’t cause the glass to shatter, so there is no immediate danger of falling glass. The windows do crack, however, and have to be replaced.
The police are watching the area but have no leads, Miggins said.
