Armed Man Makes Off With Hotel Cash

An armed man walked into a Spokane hotel and demanded money Sunday night.

At 10:20 p.m., a man entered the lobby at the Shilo Inn, 923 E. Third Ave., and demanded the desk clerk give him money from the cash register, according to the Spokane Police Department. The clerk put an undisclosed amount of cash into a popcorn bag and the suspect left on foot.

The alleged robber was described as a black male, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.
