Support Class Begins For Those Divorcing
Bob Henninger was lost. His life no longer made sense. Divorce had turned his life upside down.
Everywhere he looked he saw couples. He didn’t know how to handle it.
Henninger sought help and found it by reading the Bible. His divorce eventually turned him toward Christ. He also found professional help - although the counselors he found weren’t quite in line with what he was discovering in the Bible.
Henninger is now leading a support group at Coeur d’Alene Bible Church. A 13-week course takes members through the many aspects of divorce.
Through the support group, members learn how to go on with their lives, how to communicate better and how not to make the same mistakes again. They learn how to relate better to people through Christ.
The support group will start new classes Wednesday at the church, 5350 N. Fourth St., but can be joined at any time. The workbook cost is $15. Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday nights. To register, call the Coeur d’Alene Bible Church at 664-4883.
