Fairs Running At Full Steam
The county fair season kicks into high gear this week as the “Mooollennium” edition of the Spokane Interstate Fair continues a 10-day run at the fairgrounds on Broadway at Havana.
Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, but the carnival area remains open until 11 p.m. The fair concludes at 8 p.m. Sunday. For information, check online at http://www.spokanecounty.org/fair.
A couple of surrounding communities also are staging fairs or festivals this week. The Adams County Fair in Othello is Wednesday through Saturday, while the Odessa Deutchesfest runs Friday through Sunday.
