Fully networked homes with interconnecting entertainment systems, appliances and other gadgets are more than mere fantasy nowadays.

A growing number of upscale homes are being built to accommodate such systems.

Not so fast, say some experts, who see big economic barriers to widespread distribution of home-based networking technology. It may be years before average citizens gain such capabilities.

But the simplest tasks can be cumbersome at times, such as surfing from Web site to Web site to collect your daily dose of information.

Now, a service called Clickmarks allows you to create a home page that literally pulls data from multiple Web sites directly into your home page and displays everything in a concise manner.
