Bank On North Side Robbed
A man in his 20s robbed a North Side bank Monday and escaped in a small car.
Employees at the Wells Fargo Bank, 6228 N. Monroe, said the man entered the bank about 1:45 p.m. with one hand in his pocket. He did not display a weapon, but demanded money from a teller, took some cash and went outside to a waiting car driven by another man, according to Spokane police.
The robber was described as white, about 25, 5 feet 10 inches tall, slender, with short blond hair, a mustache, and wearing round, dark glasses. He wore olive cotton trousers, a navy blue windbreaker and a dark baseball cap.
The men left in a small, older, blue two-door car with dull paint. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
