A-1 Division I, Ii Showdowns Mark Second S-R Football Poll
The Associated Press in Boise this week canceled the state high school football polls for the season when too few sportswriters and broadcasters voted for a fifth consecutive week.
So The Idaho Spokesman-Review will feature its own rankings through the rest of the season. Rankings will be based on the previous week’s results, scouting reports from coaches statewide and information from sportswriters.
Two big games in the Boise area highlighted action statewide last week. In a showdown in A-1 Division I, defending state champ Centennial, behind 277 yards rushing from Troy Connors, handled Eagle 35-14.
