Elected to County Commission in 1995 to fill out term in seat vacated by Skip Chilberg. Re-elected in 1996.

Balancing development with good stewardship of tax dollars and protection of the environment.

Raised about $33,500 through Sept. 13, including a $2,000 donation from retired Microsoft executive Bill Pope of Seattle and $1,000 from the Washington Conservation Voters Action Fund.
