2 Mead Students Jailed In Robbery Cases
Spokane sheriff’s deputies ar rested two Mead High School students in connection with a string of robberies that occurred in North Spokane Wednesday night.
The two 17-year-olds were each charged with four counts of armed robbery, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Their names were not released.
The robberies occurred at a Zip Trip store, two Shell gas stations and an ATM. The robbers threatened to use weapons if they weren’t given money, but never displayed any weapons, according to sheriff’s reports.
The only injury reported during the crime spree was an inventory clerk who was head-butted.
