Council Town Hall Meeting

The council will consider placing a charter change for the transition to strong mayor on the November ballot, as well as an ordinance to introduce fluoride to the city’s water supply.

Hearing examiner

Tuesday, 9 a.m., sixth-floor conference room, City Hall

The examiner will consider changes for the Field of Beans Espresso Stand at 5520 N. Maple.

Spokane Civil Service Commission

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., City Council Chambers, lower level, City Hall

The commission will hold a hearing on a transitioning proposal and hear an appeal by Jamie Newcomb.

City/County Historic Landmarks Commission

Wednesday, 3 p.m., City Council briefing center, lower level, City Hall

The commission will review a special valuation permit for the Schade Brewery at 528 E. Trent.

Spokane Public Library board of trustees

The council will discuss downtown zoning and the comprehensive plan.
